The time leading up to your wedding can be such a frantic and stressful time that it’s only fitting that you head to the Spa for a little pampering before your big day. But what treatments should you have, and when should you have them?
Facials should be had a week to 10 days prior to your wedding day as they can bring out impurities in the skin resulting in acne or minor breakouts.
Manicures and Pedicures should be enjoyed the day before your wedding as this will allow you to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed as well as have any repairs to the paint or acrylic/gel nails that might be necessary in an emergency.
Massages should be enjoyed a day or two prior to your wedding for a very good reason. A massage eliminates toxins from your body and can dehydrate you slightly. You will then need to drink a fair bit of water to rehydrate yourself and run the risk of feeling and looking bloated if you have the massage just before the ceremony.
We’ve compiled a recommended timeline of treatments to consider having in the final week before your wedding.
- 1 Week Before: Eyebrow Wax, Facial and Hair and Makeup trial
- 1 Day Before: A relaxing message, Manicure and Pedicure
- The Wedding Day: Your wedding Hair and Makeup and any last minute touch-ups to your nails that might be needed.
