The park-like 4000 m² private garden that surrounds the facilities of the Hands On Retreat Stay Spa and Guest House has many tranquil spots for meditation and rest. Enjoy the tall trees all around you, the views of the river and the rolling lawn area.
The Hands on Retreat blends into the natural surroundings: the outdoor Jacuzzi bath, housed in its own shelter, overlooks the river and the Treatment Rooms and Steam Capsule are situated on the bank of the river under the tall trees. Weather permitting, we also offer pamper treatments in the garden and on the patio. Guests can book for spa treatments online through our web site or at reception.
We’ve created the place for couples to connect with one another – away from family and other interruptions. It’s a hop away from Sandton and Rosebank, yet with the tall trees, the greenery and the spruit going through the middle of the property, you could be in the countryside.
It’s time for us-time!
We offer anniversary and romantic breakaway and themed weekend packages transporting you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Couples are treated in private together with one another. A weekend retreat leaving the couple revitalised, revived and refreshed. |

From the moment you arrive on Friday afternoon from 16h00, you detach from the outside world with our:
- Relaxation Indian Head and Neck and Shoulder massages in the garden
- On Saturday, enjoy hand and foot treatments; jacuzzi sessions for two and your romantic dinner
- The Sunday brunch is at 09h00, followed by meditation in the garden, jacuzzi sessions and a couple full body Hot Stone massage
- Depart at around 12h00
