Oils and their Uses
| Sweet
Almond Oil |
This
one is the most common oils. It is light oil that
contains vitamins and minerals, proteins, and glucisodes.
Good for most skin types, and is especially useful
for dry and itchy skin. It has the added benefit
of being anti-inflammatory. |
| Apricot
Kernal Oil |
Useful for
prematurely aged, dry and sensitive skin. Good for
all types of skin, it contains vitamins and minerals.
Its main use is to relieve stress. |
| Jojoba
Oil |
It contains various protein and minerals, is antibacterial,
and helps to balance the brain and the pituitary
glands. It helps to break down sebum in clogged
pores and is helpful to treat various skin disorders. |
| Lavender |
A
soothing massage oil with calming properties. |
| Camomile |
Both
Roman and German camomile have excellent calming
properties, but Roman camomile is more effective
for irritation, impatience and feeling disagreeable,
and has great value in treating PMS and other menstrual
and menopausal problems, while German camomile again
is super effective on the skin, not only to sooth
and calm, but to heal and to regenerate tissue. |
